Q. I don’t want to take the refrigerant quiz online. How do I get the paper version?
A. Call the ASE customer service department, Monday-Friday, 8 am to 5 pm Eastern time, at 1-800-390-6789 to request the review booklet and quiz.
Q. When will I receive my permanent credentials?
A. You will receive your permanent certificate and wallet card within 60 days of successfully passing your quiz. In the meantime, use the 60-day temporary credential that you print directly from your profile. Go to www.asecampus.com and log in using the user name and password you created when you registered. Select "Review My Results" from the menu at the top, and then select the certificate icon under the title of the quiz. Remember, the temporary certificate is only good for 60 days. Please note that permanent credentials will only be sent to mailing addresses in the U.S. and U.S. territories (American Samoa, Guam, Northern Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands) and military APO/FPO addresses. Permanent credentials will not be mailed to any other locations.
Q. Do I have to pay to take the quiz again if I do not pass?
A. Yes, each quiz is $19.00.
Q. I’ve forgotten or lost my user name and password. How do I retrieve them?
A. For automatic 24/7 retrieval, go to www.asecampus.com and click on the Lost Password link at the bottom of the page. Alternatively, send an e-mail to: asecampus@ase.com. Please provide the name you used to register and a valid e-mail address and the information will be e-mailed to you. Please note that ASE Campus support is available from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, EST, Monday through Friday.
Q. My user name and/or password do not work. What's wrong?
A. Your user name and password may contain upper-case and/or lower-case letters and need to be typed exactly as you entered them when you registered. If you still have problems, send an e-mail to: asecampus@ase.com. Also, ASE Campus and myASE have different log ins. You must register separately for each of these sites.

A. Go to www.asecampus.com and log in using the user name and password you created when you registered. Select "Review My Results" from the menu at the top, find the refrigerant quiz listing on the page and select the certificate icon to launch the certificate. Remember, this is a temporary certificate that's only good for 60 days.
Q. How do I get another copy of my permanent certificate and wallet card?

Q. I need to purchase vouchers. Where are they?
A. Vouchers are available in the Refrigerant Program Product Catalog. View this catalog, then select the Purchase Vouchers option for the ASE Refrigerant Recovery and Recycling Program. The default quantity is 1, but you may change it to the number of vouchers you need. ASE Campus automatically sends your vouchers to the email address you provided during your transaction. Vouchers are product-specific and can be redeemed only once. Price $19, plus sales tax if applicable in your area.
Q. I would like to purchase quizzes for the technicians in my shop or company. How do I do this?
A. ASE offers a voucher program for the purchase of multiple quizzes. If you would like to purchase these online, create a profile in your name at www.asecampus.com. Select Product Catalog from the menu at the top. View the Refrigerant Program Product Catalog. Select Purchase Multiple Vouchers (Credits) for ASE Refrigerant Recovery and Recycling Online Quiz. Click Buy Now and click Pay By Credit Card and Submit. Verify your cardholder information and click Submit. Enter the quantity of vouchers you desire, your card number, the expiration date and your card security code; then click Submit. You will receive an e-mail containing both your transaction receipt and voucher codes. Note: After purchasing multiple vouchers, ASE encourages you to track the vouchers in a spreadsheet that you maintain. Include columns for the voucher code, date it was received, who a code was assigned to, and the date it was assigned.

Q. Will I be charged sales tax on my purchase?
A. ASE is required to collect sales tax on applicable purchases in AK, AR, AZ, CO, HI, IA, IL, IN, LA, MA, MD, ME, MI, MN, NC, NE, NJ, NM, NY, OH, PA, RI, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, WI, WV & WY.
A. First, register at www.asecampus.com. Click on Product Catalog from the menu at the top. Select the ASE Refrigerant Recycling and Recovery Program Package option (not the purchase vouchers option) and then click Buy Now. Select the option to pay by voucher code and submit. Verify your user information and submit. Enter your voucher code.
Please note: Vouchers are product-specific and redeemable only for their specified product.
Q. What happens if I lose my Internet connection or my computer freezes up?
A. Depending on where you were in the quiz, you may need to start the quiz over. The quiz will remain active in your profile until you submit it for scoring and will be on your home page when you log back in.
Q. When I click on the icon to start my quiz, either no window opens or a blank screen appears. What is wrong?
IMPORTANT: You should also check any firewall that you may be using so that it allows inbound and outbound events to www.asecampus.com. Remember, there are software firewalls that run on your PC and you may also have a hardware firewall that's integrated into a modem or router. You will need to check the settings on any that apply. Also, some modems/routers can be set to allow/deny access to certain sites. This may be part of a parental controls setting. Make sure to check any options that either allow or deny access to specific websites.
Q. Does my ASE Heating and Air Conditioning certification (A7) satisfy the requirements for refrigerant recovery and recycling?
A. No, the ASE Heating and Air Conditioning certification test was designed with a broader range of knowledge in mind. Therefore, it does not provide what the EPA requires under Section 609 for "certification" in refrigerant recovery and recycling. The ASE Refrigerant Recovery and Recycling Review and Quiz is the only product offered by ASE that fulfills the EPA requirements.
